How could Marnie challenge Ray? He DOES need someone who could challenge him, but I don't see that being Marnie.

Seriously… Why did he not get more roles? Seems like a solid guy, a dedicated actor, razor-sharp cheekbones…
Haha, this was the perfect series for a method actor. For sure. Spike was always one of my favorite characters on the show, and I always get excited when I see Marsters pop up in any new series. Always thought he deserved more roles.
Very few writers do know how to do that, sadly… Can't think of too many happy couples on TV.
Me too. Seriously underrated actor. Should be in a lot more stuff.
I'm 100% glad that never happened. Any other show would have done it, and the whole ending with Buffy not picking Angel or Spike was really empowering to me as a young woman.
I agree. And he's aged quite well… Seems like the alcoholism/past trauma he's talked about really derailed his acting career. Could easily imagine him getting a lot of TV work otherwise.
LOL yeah the way Dan had to repeat it definitely made me thing he was trying to make it a thing.
I trust David Lynch way more than I trust Chris Carter! (Although I did think at least that one episode of the new X-Files series that starred Rhys Darby was excellent and up there with the show's best… if only the other five weren't so alternatingly horrible and forgettable.)
We also got two seasons of Looking and a movie! Wish we had more, but I am glad we got the two seasons we did. (Also, the criminally underrated Enlightened! Starring one Laura Dern.)
IDK, I really like Chasing Amy. I was glad they didn't end up together, tho.
Same… People complained about nothing happening on Looking, and that show was my fave. Not everything needs to be Queer as Folk.
IDK, I actually think this is going to be remembered as a really important horror film for decades to come.
Also, isn't it a really fucking big coincidence that one of the black people they hypnotized (the guy at the party who gets set off by the camera flash) happens to be someone Chris and his TSA friend have met before? That was oe of the biggest stretches for me.
AH, can't WAIT to hear what he has to say.
SO true… I think Moonlight is the best film by far, but I can see why the Best Director category might not always match up to Best Picture.
I was wandering through Hollywood Forever Cemetery last weekend and happened across a gravestone surrounded by a TON of flowers and notes. It was his, and it made me really sad to remember he's gone. So talented. Green Room was prob my favorite film of 2016.
I liked Blue Ruin A LOT but felt Green Room was a near-perfect genre film. Really looking forward to checking this one out!
Can totally imagine that. With a nice dose of Texas Chainsaw Massacre thrown in for good measure.
DUDE YES… I always felt super weirded out about the sexuality of Judd Apatow movies. Trainwreck, anyone?
