This guy comes pretty close to that level of uber-whiteness, IMO.

Yeah, tbh, in this country, it feels like the idea of "whiteness" is primarily based on skin tone alone (but even then, if you have Asian features, you don't "count," even if you're just as pale as anglos). I know lots of Latinos who are super-pale and people constantly refer to them as white (versus darker members of…
Weird! Maybe he's going to be Ghost Michael from here on out? Hope they don't go back to Jane-Raf then. Hated that pairing and it would be sooooo overkill.
I almost didn't watch, thanks to the title, but I'm so glad I gave it a chance. It's my favorite show on TV.
Does it involve feeding off human flesh? If not, I'm not interested.
Alias was so fantastic (until the last season or so). Yeah, think it's weird what's happened to her career. I blame Affleck.
WTF? Snuff Box is the weirdest (and I say that as a big Snuff Box fan).
I feel like that's what got me into Pixies! I was in maybe ninth or 10th grade at the time.
Fuuuuuck yeah. Juno and LMS are two of the most annoying movies to me. Loved the Juno soundtrack, but felt like both of those movies were indie movies made for people who don't really like independent film.
DUDE… yes. Your second paragraph just hit me in the gut.
I don't think it's fair to lump Wes Anderson in with American Beauty. Wes has a vision and gets a bit more inventive; American Beauty just felt like it was trying SO hard (I found it grating and super laughable).
Yeah, I think I was in ninth grade, and I'm pretty sure my sister and I went to see it at the weird little mall movie theater in our boring hometown. My friends and I were obsessed with the soundtrack, although we were already into The Shins, Rilo Kiley, et. al. Movie is, of course, really doofy/overly earnest and…
Oh haha yeah, him too!
Greg popping up? ;)
Ha, Oz immediately came to mind for me too.
Glen-Gary-George award goes to the black dude who often appears in the background but is never given much to do.
LOVED it. Definitely in my top 5.
I seriously HAAATED Arrival. Dialogue was horrible, and the "twist" was not that well-thought-out IMO.
GREEN ROOM FOREVER.
I really loved 20th Century Women. I went to college in SB and lived there for a few years afterward, and I loved all the attention to detail. Felt like it, along with Kelly Reichardt's "Certain Women," was overlooked due to being a bit more subtle and contemplative than the Academy's normal picks.
