I really liked it. It was more subtle than the earlier scenes. Felt very Linklater to me, in the best way possible.

Yeah, really, really did not care for the script AT ALL.

I thought Arrival was so middling. She was good, but the script was so bad/cheesy.

Green Room's def in my top 5 of the year!!

That's The Joke! (TM)

I was really surprised by the nomination, but yeah, loved it.

He doesn't seem to have been in much as of late, but yeah, I was surprised to see him pop up in this of all things. Looking forward to it (I think!). ETA: Oh, I guess I just don't watch superhero movies anymore. It seems those have been keeping him busy and away from prestige fare.

Yup, my thoughts exactly. Also, Adam's delusional enough to think Alice just might come around someday.

LOL, I tuned out for most of the episodes since the infamous roadkill burrito, but this season's pretty good so far. Nice guest stars tonight.

She's too Asian for the role, IMO.

I thought Certain Women was really great. I liked it a good deal more than a lot of films sure to garner nominations. Loved that they hired a Native American actress for one of the starring roles.

Remember when festivals had lineups we actually wanted to see?

But why do people include cantaloupe/honeydew melon? They are gross and infect all the other food with their weird flavor.

Plain mayo is sick. But if it's chipotle mayo or something with actual flavor, I like it.

It's actually good! I've had it. Even as a picky kid, I liked it. Sounds nasty though, I agree.

That's funny; as a kid, I hated sour cream (or thought I did). As an adult, I LOVE it, although I still think cottage cheese sounds disgusting. And I would never eat plain mayo (blech), though if it's something like a chipotle mayo I can handle it.

Yes, yuck to blue cheese.

I was a pretty picky eater as a kid, but I attribute that to not liking meat (still don't eat it) and a mother who raised me on simple starchy foods alone. As an adult, for a vegetarian, I'm pretty unpicky somehow. The only non-meat foods I dislike are mushrooms, bleu cheese, straight-up bananas (I don't mind the
