The second someone starts whining about how we don't need political correctness, I stop listening. Common courtesy and respect shouldn't be too much to ask.

Same… I just won't even consider it.

I saw him perform a free show a few months ago at Meltdown and thought his set was pretty good/not as conventional as this sounds… (Also don't remember any of these racist bits?) Although he was complaining about having to dumb his material down and make it more straightforward in most of the big venues he plays these

What if they do a different "world" for each season?

Trueblood is one of the campiest shows ever, so it's not surprising.

Such a fuckin' shithead! Ughhhhhh.

GOD I can't stand this stupid kid. The original "American Werewolf in London" is a near-perfect movie (one of my all-time favorites). What is the fuckin' point? "American Werewolf in Paris" is up for grabs though.

I loved TTYD SO much, and I'm a big fan of Julie Delpy too, but AWIP is fucking terrible. Like, it defies all reason.

People just like Poe cause he's played by Oscar Isaac.

Yup, one big fan-service-y mess of a movie. A bit fun, but not memorable for me. Aside from my interest in Stormpilot. ;)

LOL, agreed. American Werewolf in Paris is up for grabs.

I think the best thing about it is how it straddles different genres so successfully. I always found the central romance to be really, really charming, and the comedy is spot-on. There is def a horror element, but I never really found it scary.

Isn't he a glee club teacher?

I can see where Dowd was coming from on the last point… That last image from the third story was a powerful one, and the brief scenes at the end aren't quite as compelling of a note to end on. Still, I thought it was some really strong filmmaking as a whole.

It's funny because my boyfriend and I are NOT musical lovers at all… Yet we both love this show and consistently laugh at the musical numbers. The pop-punk parody from this episode had us rolling on the floor laughing.

Agreed. But for some reason he also reminds me of Bill Simmons.

I really hope so! For my money, it's one of the smartest and most entertaining hours of television going. The name is unfortunate, though, because I assume there are a bunch of people out there who hear the name and think it's some dumb show for tweens. (I'm glad the AV Club convinced me to give it a chance halfway

SAME… Sad that it's not coming back for a bit!

Yes please… She's my fave!

Haha, that def jumped out at me when I started reading this. I get what the writer was trying to say, but it's not being used right.
