I didn't know that. I always forget that people (especially people who care about pop culture) are still religious nowadays. It's not fair of me to think that way, but I just don't come across it too often in everyday life.

I love Elliott Smith, but his music makes me feel profoundly devastated. Maybe because I got into him in eighth/ninth grade, and that is such an angsty time. Also, the music itself is pretty devastating. And I always feel sad that he's gone.

True. Basically, I wish people would stop trying to act like spilling the truth is a selfless act they're doing for their partner's benefit. If you feel so bad that you have to tell, tell, but realize you're being selfish (just as you were when you strayed).

I feel like Kim Gordon is the PERFECT example of aging gracefully. She continues to feel more relevant to me because she doesn't TRY to hide her age. She seems like a grownup who is still artistically relevant, whereas I see Madonna and I think, "Jeez. Again?"

OK, I like (no, love) "Zodiac." But the rest of his stuff is weak/overrated, to me. Especially "Gone Girl."
