Oh! Yeah I didn't notice that somehow. But I did think it was very Modesto of Doris to be swimming in her bra!

Yep, and I found his character more compelling. Kevin doesn't really interest me at all.
Ooh, speaking of "Buffy," the episode that made me super sad was the episode in Season 2 where Jenny Calendar dies. Poor Giles. (Spoiler alert for an ep that aired more than a decade ago!)
I don't think that was a swimsuit — looked like a bra to me. (I liked this episode a lot, but I did think Patrick's crying was over the top.)
I'm trying to decide why Kevin appears — do the writers just really love that character more than we do? Or is something intriguing going to happen?
Same. I LOVE Richie. I've wanted to see more Richie and Patrick ever since that episode where the two explored the city together last season. I'm kinda bummed they seem to be prioritizing Patrick's relationship with Kevin. Kevin really bums me out. Seems needy and manipulative.
Agreed — kind of a weird decision to bring Patrick into it. I know he's basically the main character (a la Carrie Bradshaw), but I don't think it'd be so bad to have an episode without him.
This show does so well when it pares down the ensemble and only focuses on a few characters at a time. Nailed it! And I'm always excited about more screen time for Doris.
The image of Dom having sex with George Michael.
Yeah, that was my guess. That, or he's lying. I don't think he has the spine to do it.
Yeah, I feel like he's gonna get hurt big-time. But I guess we all have to learn, right?
Noooo, go away Kevin, I'm tired of you. Otherwise, loved this episode. I have friends from Modesto and this is exactly what I always pictured it being like. This show is so consistently well-written and comes up with so many unexpected twists and turns. Sunday nights are the best!
I feel like you're over-thinking things. Put up a profile and forget about it for a bit. See what happens! Edit as needed.
What about Reba?
Well, the other takeaway is that she isn't embarrassed to be portrayed as being into really bad foods. In fact, she seems to relish it. I think that's relatable. She doesn't really seem like she cares to lose weight either. (Nor should she.)
Yup. My uncle's a doctor who loves smoking and drinking. It hasn't stopped him from earning tons of money and being very successful at what he does, but it has made him fat and not so healthy.
Yeah, and I feel like Danny has sort of lost his mojo — wasn't he kind of cool in the first two seasons? He seems like a neutered grandpa now.
This was a super-weak episode for sure. One of this season's worst. Tamara got some great lines, though.
Agreed. He is the only person on this show I would want to hang out with.
I also think the characters on "Girls" are meant to be hard to like. You can see glimpses of decent human beings on "Togetherness."
