Ha! I was bidding on that, too. But I stopped at $50. Next time!

Finally saw them yesterday! Great show… they sound so natural playing together, it'd be a shame if this reunion is totally over.
His "X-Files" episode wasn't so great… which was surprising at the time, since he would seem to be a good fit for that show.
Yeah… I've kept my eye on eBay. I really want that one and "Tim" from Twin/Tone (not the re-releases), but I'm trying not to splurge on vinyl right now. I do have a nice original copy of "Pleased to Meet Me," but that one's not hard to find.
Next episode: He quits his job and joins the police academy.
I love "Sixteen Blue," but Tim's my favorite overall, probably because it's the first 'Mats album I heard.
Pleaaase no!
She's just in charge of pencils!
(Wrong thread.)
The fucking "smokes a pack a day" chick from "Meet Virginia." Do you KNOW how many times I've been serenaded by a-holes with that Train garbage??!
Duuuude… when I was a kid in South Carolina, the area I lived only had black people and white people. I saw a Japanese lady at the store and later asked my mom if she was Jewish. (I am glad the rest of my childhood was spent in more diverse places.)
Glad this is better than the ABC commercials during the NBA playoffs made it look. (I mean, damn, I thought this show was going to be grade-F dogshit, based off those commercials.) It actually sounds watchable, based on the two reviews I've read. Will check it out tonight.
And mine, *Off-White.*
Yup, that was my feeling based off the commercials I'd seen… it definitely looked like cheap, played out jokes. I will also be checking it out now.
I'm shocked — the non-stop commercials they were running for this during the NBA playoffs looked ATROCIOUS. Glad to hear it, though.
That whole movie bugged me. ("World's End.") And I liked the others.
Same here! That song, for me, totally stands apart from the rest of her work. I love it.
He told a kid in a wheelchair to stand up!
I don't think it was supposed to be meta, actually. And the show is much better now than it was back then, IMO.
It's why I originally got into the show, but they've written some better episodes lately. Much tighter.
