Fair enough. That is pretty weird!

The fact that your "defense" for your position references whether he's made a good movie recently or not says a lot.
"Enlightened" was my favorite show last year. I was pissed when they cancelled it. I like "Girls," but I think "Enlightened" was the better show overall. Each episode felt almost perfect.
Threesomes are great, but I guess my reflection on that scene was that yeah, it seemed a little too fortuitous. I mean, something that wouldn't happen to the average person in real life, regardless of sexual orientation.
I think it's because Augustin and his boyfriend (I don't even remember his name, see?) are the least developed, least interesting characters so far. The actors — to me — don't have the same naturalistic feel or rapport in their scenes that many of the other characters do. Maybe that's supposed to be the case, given…
Prophetic, strange and cosmic things happen when you're not… LOOKING!
I really enjoyed a number of Allen's films due to his humor (I won't pretend otherwise), but I can't see myself re-watching any, at this point.
If you like the Twilight Zone, why would you not like the X-Files? My boyfriend's a big Twilight Zone fan, but had never seen the X-Files and said it was stupid. Then I made him watch season 1… six months and eight more seasons later, he's a big fan. (Less so of season nine, of course.)
Exactly. I'm really happy the A.V. Club is covering sports, as they're a big part of my pop culture diet, but I also feel like it's a stereotype that intelligent people can't like sports. Totally possible to be a Proust-reading grad student who also likes football, basketball or soccer or whatever.
And I don't even care!
I normally don't mind when movies aren't plot-driven, so long as the conversations are good and the characters interesting, but this sounds horrible.
Not a fan of Jason Reitman and his obnoxious filmography, though I did enjoy "Young Adult" in all of its evil glory. (That one had Charlize Theron, Patton Oswalt and Minneapolis going for it, though.)
Whoa, serious TL:DR, homie. And I don't care that you don't care about my not caring about the Super Bowl. I like sports a LOT, but I don't care for American football. Just not my thing. Maybe you don't care that I enjoy watching the NBA Finals or EPL soccer.
To be fair, I WISH I didn't know about them anymore. I thought their first two albums weren't bad, but the rest has been garbage.
I think they're involved because he's Doggett's former friend, and Wells came to Doggett for help before he was arrested.
I feel like Ray and Adam was more just exaggerating — they're more perturbed by Hannah's self-centered reaction than by the dude's mysterious death. (Because instead of just being quiet about it, she has to broadcast it in a not-so-sensitive way.)
Yeah, that's what happened to Marnie's ex, what's-his-annoying-face?!
Yuck… I would hope Ray's smarter than that…
Don't do it, Ray! It's a trap!
SO with you. I think John Doe from X best summed up my thoughts on Against Me! at a festival last year when he said (as X started to play, right after AM!), "Now it's time for some music for the grown-ups."
