I guess YMMV, we tried it on one of our dogs who was afraid of any loud noises (bought it for thunderstorms).  He hated it.  It didn’t calm him down, but I guess he was distracted with trying to get it off.  

They lost me at $30/month. For that much, it should read and respond to my emails for me (from another location).

This will probably be an unpopular opinion, but in our yard, I used Conquer (pesticide). Last year, we had more than a dozen ticks (probably more than 20). this year, we had a couple before we sprayed and have had none after. Obviously, it helps to also keep your grass and surroundings cut low (and kept that way).

Yeah, or a service person calling when they’re 30 minutes away, I was thinking of this kind of problem too.  I assume you’ll just have to turn the feature off when you know you’re expecting an unknown call, then turn it back on again.  If that’s the case, I’d be ok with it, given how awesome it would be to get rid of…
