If you could upgrade the system (after purchase) to add more games, I’d be in.  I don’t like having to buy a cabinet that only has 3-5 games on it, especially since you can’t mix and match to get the specifics you want.

Howard Wolowitz already tried that, didn’t work out too well.

ha! that’s funny.

I love the audience reaction when he says $999.

I like to bake a potato(s) the night before, then shred them in the morning.  This way, there’s less cook time and a lot less moisture to cook off.  Leave the skin on.

Squatty Potty solved this problem for me.  Once I started using it, I was on and off the throne in a couple minutes, max.

I was surprised not to see Epic on the list.  I tried Brave and didn’t like it that much.  Seemed like too much hassle to use, but then maybe that’s the point.

Damn, I hadn’t heard that.  I was hoping they were going to provide some valuable data.

Yeah, I’m out.

I like consumerlab.com for this kind of thing.  You have to pay for a subscription, but they have a ton info about all sorts of subscriptions.  They’ve also started doing youtube content (much more limited).

That’s been my experience as well.  I’ve tried a couple different stores (I now have one near me) and didn’t like it at all.  My father-in-law shops there because he likes the milk, but that’s about the best he can say about the place.

Cool, thanks for the link.

We (the users) have to accept some responsibility for this. We are creating a demand for cheap and convenient. It’s been going on for a while and the internet is making it even easier. The more we want <insert whatever> faster, more convenient to us and cheaper, the more that demand will push people to supply it.

Any recommendations on a good smoke detector?  I thought about nest but this aspect has kept me away.  I want a group of detectors that can work in multiple buildings (meaning, connect with each other) so I can know if the garage or barn has a fire.  But, I don’t want the aspect of “smart” that includes listening in

As Chef John would say “You are, after all, the Saturnalia of your Skordalia” :)

Hopefully, the men will get some love this year: https://www.autoblow.com/ I mean, the thing is powered by Artificial Intelligence, it should qualify.

Or just stick with a damn key, not everything has to be “smart”.

Grandma’s getting annoyed with all these damn rings and is going to call them back to give them a piece of her mind and/or is concerned that some kid is in trouble and is calling back to make sure everything is ok.  At 4.9B calls in one damn month, that’s going to pay off somehow.

Seems like this would actually make a lot of sense for the QVC type channels.  While they’re selling their crap, pop a QVC code on screen and let people buy direct.
