I bought his food lab book and it’s awesome. Tons of great stuff in there and really not you every day cookbook.

I know many things, for I walk by night. :)
Ha! “Get this and get it straight, crime is a suckers road and those who travel it wind up in the gutter, the prison or the grave. There’s no other way and they never learn”.
I do the same thing, but I listen to Old Time Radio. Just interesting enough to get my mind off whatever is in there, but not so much that I’m up listening to it.
But he didn’t build a wedge, he built (cut down) a piece of wood to a specific thickness that makes it, essentially, a block that raises one side of his tool a specific amount. He took the time to measure the width of the tool, the amount of drop in the driveway over that distance and then he planed a piece of wood to…
I’m guessing that was my father-in-law’s house.
What I referenced is a parody of rap video’s. Not standup. very NSFW language, but funny, though not in laugh out loud way.
You could be, but you’re not. comedy bang bang = blech. Though I do like some of Reggie’s stuff (“fuck shit stack” comes to mind)
Oh man, those people who won’t accelerate until they’re on the interstate. Drives me crazy. You have this long ramp where you’re supposed to get up to speed and they’re doing 50 when they try to merge. Drives me crazy.
Keep in mind, those aren’t race cars. Sometimes, especially when loaded, they can’t just jam on the gas pedal and “go fast”. Also, given that they’re in it for the long haul and that they probably, if they’re lucky, get about 8mpg, they can’t afford to do that anyway
Yeah, agreed, Atlanta Motor Speedway for Georgia? Not the “most photogenic”.
ok, thanks. NOLA to CHI seems like a more doable trip for me (in the Atlanta area) but I really like the cross country idea.
Good point about the Good Samaritan law. Here’s Georgia:
That’s interesting, thanks. Given that I live in the Atlanta area, I’m not sure that I’ll do this trip, but thinking about it. Adding flight costs to/from the start and end points makes it a pretty expensive “road trip”.
Thanks, just read the article (mostly) which makes this idea more appealing.
Does this include having a sleeper or is it just a normal chair? Wondering how comfortable it would be to sit/sleep for this amount of time.
Wish I could give your reply more than one (million) stars
I tried this (I like most of what he cooks) but I didn’t like the results. Probably because I’m so used to what Mom made (over cooked scrambled eggs) that it’s what’s “right” when I have them. But I’m trying. :)
sure, given that, you’re right.
That was interesting, though I’m not a fan of all the “let God choose” type questions in it.
