i remember going to a McDonalds, with only a dollar, and being able to get a cheeseburger, fries, and a drink. (yes, i’m old. This was 1975, in WV).

I had a roommate who worked in a theater. He offered to take me and two other roommates to watch a movie, totally free. “We just have to show up 10 minutes after it starts, and remember to bring a clean trash bag!” We showed up, with a big green Glad garbage bag in hand. “That works great” he said, and proceeded to

The search is the most enjoyable part of the movie going experience, for me at least. ; )
“Why yes, that is a Twizzler in my pants!”

I agree that the prices of adult popcorn and drinks are both way to high, and then the portions are way too huge. I was complaining about this to the counter person, and he suggested the “kids” snack. A drink, a small bag of popcorn, all for 6 bucks. I was psyched.

I sneak the same thing into theaters, dude, know where you’re coming from. But i just slip the vaporizer in my pocket, and take hits in the bathroom. Why do you put the vap in a flask?
; )

Fuck the movie, just try watching the trailer for Sonic without being stoned as fuck. It just goes on and on, like a mobius strip of stupidity.

Tough that the real estate market crashed, but hopefully it will ease the rent costs eventually. (i.e. Once the current owners get foreclosed upon, and new owners can charge less.) I remember reading that when real estate prices were rising in Vancouver (due to foriegn buyers), they made an ordinance that 30% of the un

I believe Veterans stadium in Philadelphia also had a jail (to better serve the public on Sundays).

Grew up in Morgantown. The police chief was once asked by ESPN why the college kids were always making bon fires after big victories. He explained that there is only a $25.00 fine for making a bon fire in the street. This was a few years ago, but he wasn’t joking, and implored the town council to enact harsher

I can handle questions regarding origins of the “sit on the burning chair in the bonfire until your ass catches fire” game, if that helps. In the 1970's, these researchers were in the arctic, and they came across a giant block of ice. One thing led to another (no pun intended), and then they had this social gathering,

I always liked the smart car drag race. I wish there was a go pro in the car. The driver must be like “here is the track i can see through the windshield, now nothing but the sky, and now the track again. nice!

changing the topography would change Brand’s Hatch irreparably. There is a place for flat road courses (usually in france, /jk), but a racetrack is usually designed around the topography, kinda similar to a golf course, i imagine. Hence it would be kinda tough to just move the racetrack, at least imho, to a different

Yea, i miss the good ol’ days, when Tim Duncan would get a technical for just smiling on the bench!

I know i am going against the grain here, but i thought Houston was justified in being pissed. Kevin Durant gets tapped on the elbow before he is even fully into his shot motion, and that is called a foul. Thereafter the Warriors were often in the landing zone of the Rocket’s jump shot, and no calls happened at all.

You actually had great sentence structure when you wrote your English Degree was worthless in every way, so....

Definite crack pipe. That antenna really needs to be repaired...it’s gonna hit underpasses, the thing is hitting clouds right in the photo!

That’s a good question. I doubt it, just because the Japanese would never do graffiti. Individualism isn’t really celebrated in the asian countries, from what i understand. However, i would love to see the “hello kitty” corner on that track.

Nothing beats the topography of Brands Hatch. The swooping first corner, down that hill and back up, with a steep incline just where you want it, so you can break hard before a sharp right hander. The rest of the track is also lovely, but i could always do “just one more lap” knowing that stretch was in the beginning.
