Ever since I was little I would have weird dreams about things that had already happened that there was no way I would know about them. Like knowing the not common name of my great grandfather’s fishing buddy who died well before I was born.

My great-grandmother, Ket, was an Irish immigrant and from all accounts was angry woman that secretly drank like a fish while reciting bible verses. Her husband, my great-grandfather, David, was also very angry and after he came back from World War I where he was shot multiple times and lost an eye, he would…
I’ve been wanting to watch them, but forget that it’s happening every. single. time.
Came here to ask the same question...
Let him go out, maybe we’ll all get lucky
I was a little overdue dying my hair when this all started and even though I always dye my own hair, I’m taking a break from it to just see what color is growing out now (I’ve been dying it for over 15yrs), and shocker, it’s pretty much all gray. Now I’m trying to decide if I just want to transition to my new natural…
I’m honestly very worried about my dog getting sick if my girlfriend or I get sick. She’s a 15 yr old toy fox terrier and in pretty shape for a dog her age, but she does have a few health issues that we manage. If she died right now, I’m not sure how we would handle it.
My mom learned how to do pretty much everything from watching HGTV before everything was able to be googled or watched on youtube. I learned everything I know from helping my mom. I still watch HGTV, but I really wish they would bring back that instruction aspect.
I live in an outwardly beautiful apartment complex— pretty but very cheaply made, all of the appliances are terrible. I can’t use one of the burners on the brand new oven because it can only do high heat. My disaster came because I was making a dutch baby for the first time in this apartment in a pyrex pie plate. …
That is my ideal stay at home scenario. We are currently living in Florida while my girlfriend finishes med school, but have a house back in Maryland that we are planning to renovate when she’s done and we move back north. I keep thinking it would have been so nice to be back there and able to work on the house…
Same. I’ve been dying my hair for about 15 years and cutting it myself for almost as long. I went to boarding school and my friend’s mom was a stylist and and would come visit every other month or so and do our hair and gave us some tips for cutting our own hair. I keep my hair long and really just trim it and it’s…
I use Nurx because I hate going to the doctor and it is the fucking best!
I clicked on it, but I can’t bring myself to read it. My sister is an environmental scientist, and when she got her first real job, our grandfather was so disappointed that she was taking away a job from a men who have families to support....
He definitely looks like Santa, has the jolly smile and twinkle in the his eye down! He also hasn’t aged in any of those photos, very Santa!
This makes feel a little better actually. I was sucked in and thought if I could get a job at Baylor, I could move to Waco and Chip and Joanna could fix up my little house. I found a job at Baylor, but there was one requirement that I just couldn’t meet “a Christian faith are required”. Looks like this Jew will be…
I think it totally depends on the person and the school. I went to boarding school at 13, loved it, and when I think about my true ‘home’, it is that school. On the other hand, there are some boarding schools that I know I would not have liked and there were plenty of students at my school that couldn’t wait to…
