As someone who went to an HBCU, I really did lose my shit re: Beyonce’s Coachella performance. It was just so so good.

It should be expected that a state that bases its economy off of a giant mouse will naturally be overrun with giant snakes.

I don’t feel bad for the snake at all. Not because I’m afraid of snakes, I’m not. I think snakes are cool, but because

Nah. They need to kill more. It’s a shame, but they’re terrible for the local environment. Also cats. Lets get the pythons to eat the cats and then introduce something to eat the pythons.

yesss

Hey man, if we can’t be #1 in literacy, infant mortality rates, education, health care, human rights, or anything else good, we might as well be #1 in this.

That was also my feeling. I’ve been getting tattoos for 20+ years now and how artists interest potential clients has changed. It went from local word of mouth/walk ins, to conventions/features in national mags, to facebook and insta. In all of that change the one thing that hasn’t is needing your work to be strongly

I don’t pretend to know why you feel how you do. Just don’t think it’s useful to say, I’m opposed to the death penalty unless their crimes are REALLY BAD because that’s who gets the death penalty. You’re just FOR the death penalty at that point. If that describes you, that's fine, but I don't think you and I belong in

I see your one of those, “see all that black on black violence”, fuck off with that BS!

I hate to break it to you but you’re not going to feel sympathetic toward death row inmates. For the most part, they’ve committed horrific crimes. Being anti death penalty means you think the state doesn’t have the right to kill people. You’re going to hate the people you fight for if you fight against the death

But if it’s true, what’s the fucking difference? SCOTUS ruled to set the terms for other similar cases. The ruling doesn’t say, “death penalty can be painful when the lawyers act a certain way.”

This is one of the reasons why we are a Third World Banana Republic.

My friend, this is a book excerpt. Earlier in the book we learn that Angel is from Atlantic City. Thank you for your attention to detail and passion re: geography.

Dude’s name is Eric Holder? Seriously?

Anna, I have been a HUGE fan of your long form reporting for years now and I just want to tell you how pumped I am about this book. Congrats! Can’t wait to read it.

I find this stuff endlessly fascinating and look forward to reading the book!

Quite possibly the most tepid work place feud ever? (The remaining owners don’t ever seem to be fighting back?) Snooze.

I like to think of it as the future Southernmost Vancouver.

Don’t you mean Western ex-Mexico?

What else is bothering you today?
