They think that if Trump says “hey let’s do a crime” out loud, that makes it not a crime, cause it’s just out there.

Unrelated but: WHO DOESN’T KNOW THIS?????? Police car, fire truck, ambulance, slow down and change lanes so you don’t hit them when they get out of the car. This seems like the most common sense thing.

“Mueller report revels top Trump advisers defying president’s requests”

The underlying conspiracy requires a meeting of the minds to intentionally violate federal law and in furtherance of an illegal act do some things. I think Mueller punted because he couldn’t prove beyond a reasonable doubt all those elements and/or that the underlying crime, aka information provided, was crime-y

He has always functioned as if everyone in government is his employee instead of an employee in service of the people of the United States. I’m sure you know this I’m just... halfway through reading this whole thing and shaking my head so damn hard.

Bumble is Peak White Feminism.

She doesn’t. But she also doesn’t need one. The emphasis on traditional degrees is elitist. A degree doesn’t mean you’re smart, capable, or have an emotional IQ.

He got the job by applying to it, essentially, with that unhinged 17-page memo about why the Mueller investigation should not exist. He was never neutral, wasn’t brought on as neutral, and while qualified for the job, he is not a disinterested party. It’s fucking gross even by DC standards where this type of

I’m guessing they put all that shit away because they don’t want to advertise for labels for free. And getting your label out there in a Vogue video about Kim Kardashian... you couldn’t buy that kind of advertising. They had the space staged before the visit.

LOL if you think there aren’t literally 17 more bathrooms in this place.

Most the surface is flat, slightly gritty stone. You can have the MOST stuff and it wouldn’t move and you can place it in any configuration. It’s also hyper easy to clean cause no nooks and crannies. I love it.

It says “I have a literally useless undergraduate degree which has prepared me for no real marketable skill and consulting at McKinsey can pay me close to six figures right away.” If you’re worried about what job you’re qualified for but are good with numbers and analysis, consulting a good place to hide while making

Being ignorant of the subject at hand but confident about one’s opinion is the cornerstone of consulting so what you’re describing is a feature, not a bug.

Fair enough. I’m not the one she has to worry about. As a politician, she will need to choose how she can do the most good and I hope she succeeds, remains in Congress, and keeps making people uncomfortable. My fear is that she won’t.

“The district she won is all about the primary and that was a HUGE victory for progressives in America.”

You can say that about regular colleges, too. Law schools have never had problems, until recently, attracting way more applicants than they have seats. Which is part of the problem. Too many people who didn’t belong in law school paid too much money to get a shitty job.

I think she’s referring to just the minimal ass-in-seat time, not the time spent reviewing, preparing, studying for the bb bar, etc. I went to a T14 school and some people worked hard to keep up and others didn’t have to work as hard.

You don’t need any kind of previous specific academic experience to study law in the US. My entering class had everything from physics and finance to polisci. Nothing prepares you for legal studies in undergrad.

She is studying in an office, AKA apprenticing for 18 hours a week, as that’s what is required. When I was in law school, I didn’t have 18 hours worth of class time with my ass in a seat.

Of course it is! Of course we all get that she’s explaining something quite specific and that Muslims (and POC forever) have been held accountable as a collective for the actions of the very few. It was a phrase I’m sure she would rephrase given the chance. It’s, on its face, not a great way to convey her idea because
