I’d like to nominate the first three tracks of Remain in Light by Talking Heads: “Born Under Punches,” “Crosseyed and Painless” and “The Great Curve.” A sustained run of three jams that, IMO, are individually better than the track that follows — a little ditty you probably heard of called “Once in a Lifetime.”
