I want to go find an account to give to, stat!

For me the “crisis of audience” is simply that young people cannot often a-fucking-fford to go to see the live arts.

But you should note the difference. It the expressly this reason why I spent lots more on a Nespresso. Recycling vs not recyclable is not a negligible difference.

Right? I mean, I’d hate for music to be “dramatic” or anything. Literal and restrained is always the way to go with art.

That's an awesome concept.

Keep the “we”. I got it and it doesn’t need explaining.

Oh plleeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaase let someone, at least one, do this!

My god I wish all the teens would refuse to go and demand their money back (and go out somewhere else together instead). I would (and that was true for me even when I was 17/18).

While it sucks sometimes when people share stories that are scary, I hope this one is a lesson, not just a spook. I’m a young-age survivor myself, and made a friend whose mother died from BC within 10days of diagnosis. My friend and her sis got tested, both came back BRCA+. The 35 yr old got mastectomies right away.

“...tried to push back the appointment by a week or so I was told that I would need to wait until October for another appointment.”

I’m not really sure if that was actually meant to be directed at me (?), but I merely agreed that I don’t think people inside the industry blink at this kind of stuff/gossip like outsiders do.

As an interesting example: I’m a flight attendant. My job currently has a lot of flexibility in it - in any particular month we can give work shifts to anyone else to wants to work extra for more money as long as we fly a certain minimum over the year. That is currently under some threat.

^^^this.

It’s lame to presume she’s secretly mad. I wouldn’t be! (I’d take it as a point of pride/compliment that she chose my man as the “random, hot guy”!) There’s a women who understands what is a threat and what is not. She sounds awesome.

I see your problem. You think “food service” is their function.

I meant the particular franchise, not the corporation. (Sometimes they’re counted one way, sometimes the other, depending on the situation. Hence, the “if”.)

Depends on how many employees the franchise has. If it’s less than 50, she’s not protected. Did you know that bullshit? Neither did I, until I did. You don’t wanna know. Some days this country feels like nothing but a collection of fuckers.

I'm too lazy will you tell me?

I think that's the joke.
