And I’m sure to get hate bombed for this, but as repugnant as what she stands for might be, is it fair to say when a person’s/group’s POV about politics and other social issues are polar opposite than yours, that all speaking engagements should be cancelled?

9 to 5 is white-collar

No. It’s an employment status, more than anything. A “blue-collar job.” Laborers mainly. Factory workers. Not economic middle class, but rarely going without real necessities either.

I have no doubt whatsoever that she was amazing, because she always is! But I remember almost nothing about that movie. It’s been like twenty years!

Hah, I know, right? The mustard or whatever that we do get is good, but I wanna try actual wasabi now!

Yes, as I said, it’s brilliant.

Yes, but that is not in any way a blue-collar story.

I’ve never even eaten wasabi.

Am I supposed to wash my legs?

I take exception to Winter’s Bone. That’s set in grindingly hungry, filthy, agonizing poverty, not the blue-collar stratum. Some of the characters aspire to be blue-collar; others have simply given up.

I believe this because the converse is observably true: some people go pretty far in show business with very little talent, by dint of having a good personality and being easy to work with. That kind of career also requires a certain amount of luck in personal connections but it can be huge.

It does happen, just not very much.

Do you know what it was like to adopt twins in the late 80s for a gay male couple?

It’s weird that everyone who decides not to have children must add a footnote that they don’t hate kids.

Not so much “people”: women. Women get this question.

Excellent, thank you!

Someone above (apologies, I cannot remember the name) that he’ll probably go straight into talk radio. I am inclined to agree. Donald would hire him of course but I can’t see Pence allowing it, and I think he has a fair bit of control.

Totally stealing this if okay
