I am totally not on board with anything related to HDMI-in on a game console. MS bit off quite a chunk, which I appreciate, but only to a point. Like Kirk's review mentions repeatedly, the stuff needs to work flawlessly, because we are already accustomed to it working the way it's supposed to.

This is so stupid. +1

The Xbox guide is just an overlay. If it doesn't have overlay menus for all the cable boxes, satellite boxes, and DVRs in use, it's not going to work properly. This was stated in an earlier Kotaku article which I'm now going to struggle to find.

I keep coming back to this: what good is plugging my DVR into the Xbox One if I can't use the Xbox One guide to record anything? It's a gimmick right now, and absent a deal with a major provider, it will stay a gimmick.

Plenty of people watch NFL and NBA games live without commentary and do not find them boring. They actually buy tickets to the event.

You filthy swine are not worthy of The Wire's presence in your home video collection.

Sure, you have those little people slaving all year making toys for you to deliver and hog all the glory, but you can't be bothered to spend three seconds to toss a heal.

None are rear-facing. Might as well throw them from a moving vehicle.

Heat is for filthy casuals.

You are welcome for the subsidizing of your product by us.

The expectation of trolling seems to be causing people to read into my comment and find things that aren't there.

Hey, it's your $60. Knock yourself out.

The knock on the game is that it's hopelessly repetitive, so what you played might literally be all there is to do for the entire game.

Having read multiple impressions on Ryse, the fact that its reviews can't release until Thursday is absolutely intentional.

Ah, that makes sense. I didn't know there was an option to connect the devices without being on wifi.

I'm confused on a few points here. First, what does it matter how far away you are from your TV? Are these systems not both on your wireless network? Is your access point just next to your TV? And wouldn't your Remote Play range merely echo your reliable wireless network range? Second, why would anyone use Remote Play
