I always thought that GM should follow this route. What's the point of GMC and Chevy trucks side by side? Keep the professional grade GMC models and maybe keep Chevy's around for SS models or something.

Any hack with a month in an automatic-transmission equipped car learns that although you can't shift gears with your hands, a specific amount of throttle will reliably shift gears when you want to.

It looks like a really good idea. Yeah, it looks kind of tacky, but so do scratches from a yellow cab all over your Mercedes' bumper.
