They should have done the funeral for the Kin before celebrating the birth of WP7.

@Lex Steers: What does "More Open" mean? That is laughable. You have no idea what you are talking about. Unless you are a developer that has submitted an app that has been rejected by Apple but accepted by MS (which isn't open yet), how could you even make a statement like that?

@Shinryoma: Announce away. You have no idea what the gameplay will be like since every phone will be different. I'm sure MS has paid plenty of companies to port some games over for them. It doesn't make them good.

@p.prove: Enjoy your Windows Phone 7 with all the same restrictions.

This is a direct ripoff of Zombies Attack! by IUGO Mobile Entertainment for iPhone and iPad. The only difference is the blocky 3D graphics.

@foxh8er: HA!!! I don't want to pay for anybody else. I'm relatively "right" if I had to define my political views, however, I hate watching wasteful spending. The way I see it. If every home had internet, it would be less people out causing trouble and more people at home watching porn.

Too costly for who? Comcast? I'm already paying for broadband, so it might as well come out of my taxes.

The Apple TV has been rolling around since 2007. It had an entire user interface update for early adopters. It would have been nice to be included, but I'm not surprised.

I'm just glad Howard is such a confident young man. Way to go champ!

If you have a pretty extensive iTunes Library, I think it's worth the price. However, at $99, it makes me think there are about $15 worth of parts in there.

@schall129: I'm not sure how this UI is that much different than the previous version of ATV? Other than the Netflix thing.

@Unicorn Man: @rimplestultskin: @Trebuchet: Wow... Thanks, you guys. That was the fastest response I ever got.

another question... how are they connecting facetime. It didn't get into details on the clip above. MobileMe? Regular e-mail? Just curious if that was mentioned.

Apple looks like it has positioned itself to removing all carriers from their products.

@madara: I like the concept of cloud syncing, but there is no way you are going to sync terabytes of music, videos, and apps to a cloud. I would prefer to see streaming of video and music through iTunes and possibly having access to my current app catalog.

@The Terminator: I think you still have to have a Netflix subscription to watch Netflix, even with Windows Media Center.

@lucasway89: Well... I guess I meant for data only (as Fausts mentions below).

I would assume (if this is the actual invite sent out) that it has something to do with cloud music streaming, right?

@AnthonyG123: Keep fantasizing about it. By the time something actually comes out, Apple will be on it's 3rd generation.
