@Gazoogleheimer: Okay... I'll reword it for you. Sorry for confusing you with big words.

@KTope: As I remember back to my first days of owning a Mac. I gotta say I'm just glad the headphone jacks are universal now.

@jonathan comments sometimes: Fish eyes and peanut butter are both things that exist. I can go to the store look at both items, taste them, and prefer something. Those items exist on our planet and are available for purchase. An Android tablet does not exist. It is not available to try or purchase.

@EChid: I have to admit. I use it on a macbook pro, mac pro, and a dell desktop ?? at work(can't remember the model - but it is one of the smaller desktops)

@all that hate it: Could you be a little more specific. You hating iTunes is like me hating blue shirts. How does that tell me anything...

How does one prefer an Android Tablet (something that doesn't exist yet - technically vaporware as of now) with something that does exist and works amazingly well? An iPad is not just a larger iPod touch. It may look like one, but it isn't. The extra real estate adds quite a bit more function.

@norazi: it WILL support multitasking and WILL have usb ports - needs to go on sale before you have a tablet with either of those features.

@Vidikron: Spoken like somebody that tried it back when it was first released and never looked back. Why do people hate iTunes so much? It works fine. Sorry if it doesn't support the dewey decimal system. :)

As soon as all of your media is in their cloud, they are going to start putting advertisements in their cloud to go with it.

@Fronzbot: No disrespect to Trent Rezner, as I think he is very forward thinking. But it's very easy to seem as though you are 'doing it for the love' when you've already made millions of dollars and you don't need a 3rd private jet.

@Fronzbot: It's an army of people working, not 1 fat guy sitting behind a desk watching his bank account fill up 99 cents per click.

On the side of musicians, you're chances of making a living being just a musician (no extra jobs) is nearly impossible unless you want no other life. You have a better chance of winning the lottery than becoming a 'rock star' or 'mega star' (be it Rap, Rock, or whatever).

@Early: I was at that 2005 Grand Prix. This post just keeps reminding me about the race that wasn't. My last live F1 race. :(

@PersonalEffects: I'm not sure which response you are referring to, but I never said I didn't like Apple. Until you own one, you couldn't possibly have a say in what is better.

@niftyjack: I was thinking the same thing... creepy!

@Dezerus Richardson: Doing a bit of research before I install Jolicloud. I currently have Chrome OS on my Dell Mini 9, but it is pretty worthless. The Asus eeePC is running XP.

@Shadowlayer: I have an iPad, but just bought a netbook for $175 (10" Asus eeePC) - Damn you woot! That is the most I would spend on a netbook. Even though it can technically do more than an iPad, it doesn't do anything very well. The iPad does a lot of things very well.

@Squalor: If only the writers could sum things up so well. :)

@telepheedian: I bought her one of the first Mac Mini's but the video is going out. We swapped out monitors. In addition to that, it doesn't run iChat very well, so she was stuck using Skype. She prefers iChat (yes an 80 year old woman has a preference in video chat software). :)

Might be exactly what I need to do to replace grandma's slowly dying Mac Mini. Maybe she won't notice since all she uses is Skype and email.
