At least Nissan has a great record of not putting their concepts into production

And, to be fair, the only LWB Ram Van the current Caravan is longer than is the 150 version, its still about 20 inches shorter than the heavier duty LWB Ram 250/350 models. Though it is lengthier than all the Ram SWB versions.

I can’t find it(my google-fu is weak), but Jason did an article tracing back >very< early minivans. He showed several that fit the bill as early as (iirc) the ‘30s.

It would be entertaining to have a full crew of mechanics at one’s beck and call 24/7, especially to be able to drive myriad out-0f-date racing cars.

- Chrysler pretty much invented the concept of the minivan with the 1984 Chrysler Town and Country and the Plymouth Voyager.

We got 165,000 miles on the factory clutch. Got in my

Oh man, that brings back memories. I had an ‘89 SE. Same red interior. Sadly an auto, so not fun, but it hauled a crapton. Crank front windows, but electric rear vent windows. Weird.

In 1987, my Grandmother bought a used 1984 Plymouth Voyager brown with the woody siding. We took a trip from Va Beach to Atlanta and that wimpy assed slug of an engine would not go up hills on the interstate well at all. Pedal to the metal and nothing. It would have been a fine driver if it had a real engine.

“125 miles an hour? Challenge accepted!”

I need this in my life. Caravan Turbo with the 5-speed manual transmission.

By your command…

With that you have to delve into the underworld and fight criminals who operate above the law.
