I hear you. The scam artists at my tire shop keep asking me if I want to pay for them to “rotate the tires.”

That really depends on where the Needell is pointing.

/sigh

Frikkin’ prequels...

Hey, now. You gotta dig deep into your Rolodex when you start selling Amway...

Fair point - upright in the existing blind spot isn’t so bad. I came across this (fabricated?) approach. Kind of a neat idea:

On the other hand—except for race trucks—I’ve always thought the in-bed spare tire was pretty dumb.

Matching window and lower side panel decals that read “Hyundai” oughta do it...

F40s are bigger on the inside I guess.

Or throw-forward and change the badges to Civic.

I know - and it was a Plymouth. That was the joke! :-)

That’s awesome! We’re picking up a new Honda Accord in a week or so. Now I want to go scrounge pick-a-part for enough steel lettering to make it a Honda Roadmaster or Belvedere...or even a Fury.

It’s because those letters are made of steel.

Tanks for nothing. :-)

The Porsche is rad - as was the lilac one the other day. And I think the triangle stripe should get the credit.

Yeah, but not in any degree like a small Caterham or a restored Mustang. More like maintain it as a rare and unique car(which it was) and take it to Local show and shines with my son. He loved the thing. Called it R2/D2.

Didn’t Raphael Orlove once write an article on Jalopnik about a Baja Bug with a vertically oriented radio?

We got a bit of a break, mostly because we’ve bought from that dealer previously. And it’s a 1.5 manual, so less in demand than the loaded autos.

My wife wanted me to cross-shop the Accord with an HrV, as we love her Fit. Her logic was that it would the same but in my size. And they are decent - I just didn’t want a crossover.

I loved it - it exemplified “better to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow.” The short wheelbase and tight steering made it nimble, but it did have a choppy ride. Not gonna lie there. Handled great overall, even in the snow (Hakkapalitas!).
