You have to admit that SNL having TWO actors from the laff riot “Euphoria” within a couple of months is...not what I would have guessed.

I respect that question, honestly.

In the UK, “Pop Tarts” is the tabloid name for hot young female singers, so it’s already its own porn name.

I loved it.

Every time It’s Alive is mentioned I have to jump in with my favorite thing about the franchise: in It’s Alive 3 (“Island of the Alive”!) the monster babies grow up. Not into adult monsters, but into GIANT MONSTER BABIES.

We had a “soundtrack” album which amounted to at least half of the film’s dialogue.  Awesome.

I wonder if men feel worse about this game than women?  There are two sequences of the character I’m controlling brutally beating a(nother) woman and that was the worst part of my experience.

Christ, a couple of offhanded mentions of the very successful TV series, which just won 2 acting Emmys and 6 tech Emmys, doesn’t make it “an ad”.

Sounds like she doesn’t score highly enough on the Anytime test to get to the next barrier — I’m guessing they wouldn’t assume “Emma Stone” is THE Emma Stone — but also, yes, there’s no way they’d pick a celeb for the non-celeb show.

[6 months later] I swear I saw that and thought I’d been sleep-playing. “Those names are familiar...but I know I didn’t catch 5 horses in this game...”

So they won’t open on Sundays, they’ll just make money from somebody else being open on Sundays.

Walmart (I think) has been using that performance of “Marshmallow World”, which I had never heard before, and I spent a month thinking “Is that an old track I’ve somehow never heard, or is it a fake made to sound like an old Christmas song?”

I keep thinking about the fact that Emma Stone married an SNL segment producer.  Imagine being that guy and thinking “yeah, Emma Stone’s guesting this week, I could land her” and he DOES.

There were two Lois Lanes in the 1950s Superman show, and that’s just the nerd example that I know about and comes to mind, so I bet it was more common than we think.

Wild guess: IF didn’t do it earlier precisely because it’s already been done, maybe not quite as good, but definitely cheaper.

Remember, we learned on Update last year (I guess) that Punkie truly doesn’t know the names of any movie stars, so not knowing Emma Stone from Emma Watson is on point.

Definite Kate-Hudson-in-Glass-Onion vibe.

Unless Middle Eastern studies classes are way more popular than when I was in school, I challenge whether all the campus people protesting about this are doing it because they’ve recently learned cold hard facts about the conflict from accredited scholars.

Some of this conversation seems to imply that Vellani has an exclusive contract with Marvel/Disney, but given that I don’t think any other project with her has been announced (and given the news here...) surely she’s going to just work on other things anyway?
