You know those insanely-powerful, unimaginably wealthy people that one of the other commenters mentioned?  If this thing is really a huge threat to the very basis of their power, maybe it’s worth $400B to kill it.  That’s the problem; the people you’re trying to destroy are also the only ones with the resources to

“Money is a shared illusion [ok], so buy these magic beans.”

A better PKD connection is A Scanner Darkly, in which (IIRC) the lead is an undercover DEA(-ish) agent who, when he’s at the office, has his mind wiped of which person he is when he’s undercover, which gets weird when he watches films of himself being undercover with the faces blurred out for security reasons.

“Health scare” (in the headline) seems like a weird thing to call a heart attack.  It was a real heart attack!  “Health scare” is like when you think you’re having a heart attack but it’s really reflux or something.

It’s linked to, yes, but the anchor text is just “NFTs are a scam”, which does indeed go to that 2-hour YouTube documentary, but unless you reflexively click every single link in everything you read, how would you know that?

Well, both birding and adultery are well-established murder motives, so it tracks.

Easy/story mode is in particular excellent for replaying Mass Effect with a different gender/Paragon/Renegade goal and/or different story choices.

PS also gives the percentages of people getting trophies; the things I find most interesting are just seeing a) how many people finished, and b) how many people booted it up but bailed before end of the first level or whatever.

Maybe look at PS Now, which also is a cloud streaming thing and it does apparently run on PCs. I have no experience with it, though, on any platform. (Also, it’s strongly rumored to be merging with PC Plus, so the cost and/or tier will probably change soon.)

Well, in addition to buying the VPN companies, Kape is also buying up VPN review websites. We’re not saying there’s evidence Kape is interfering with these publications or that they’re pressured to give Kape’s products a better score, but anyone can see the clear conflict of interest here there is literally no other

You fools!  You could have gotten a 15% cheaper kid if you’d waited.

You’re right about remembering what their incentives are, but: if you manage to add $50k to your selling price, the 3% is $1500, which is not nothing, but many realtors would rather have the x-1500 in two weeks instead of x in 6 months.

I forget who said it (or who said it that I’m thinking of), but there are two acceptable weights for actresses: thin, and funny-fat. In between, you get no work. Maybe this is getting less true, but I’m not real sure.

Co-creators Bonnie Turner and Terry Turner return with their daughter Lindsay Turner to also oversee the multi-cam comedy.”

and we’re not preparing for a June 2nd launch on Hulu”

The Second Fattest Housewife in This Miniseries

Honestly, I’ve ff-ed through the commercial a few times and figured it was a streaming release.

“duhn-duhn”

You get the same thing from the Best Picture winners since the award was created, but it’s worth mentioning that at least those are all based on different books, plays, and movies.

I don’t think Waller is a Butterfly, because she’s a character who has been unseen (except for the opening flashback) — I think - the whole series, and also she’s a big part of the existing DCU lore, and it would be weird if this series did something like that.
