[Here from the future, just finished S1:]

I assume this complaint has been made, but I’d really like to see the DVD shorts that came with each video release in Disney+.

I love Jan Favreau as Happy, because he happens to look exactly like the meaty schlub that Happy started out as in comics.  For that matter, since he was Foggy in Daredevil-2003, he’s played both Gene Colan schlubby sidekicks.  (Neither was first drawn by Colan but there was a run where he was doing both DD and IM.)

Bad news about neural networks: you can’t (easily) debug them. The main loop involves the weighted averages of literally thousands of computations.  This is why when people complain about AI bias (for instance), the only available justification is “hey, the algorithm!”

Didn’t they lampshade the way Laurie eats artichokes a couple of weeks ago?  Or was that a different character?  Or a different show? #TooMuchTV

I’m not going to watch it again to actually learn what I’m talking about, but there’s a well-known rant from Dan Harmon available on YouTube where he’s pissed off about the title “Now You See It II”, which builds until he screams “HOW IT NOT CALLED ‘NOW YOU DON’T’!!!!!?!?!?!?!?”  Seems relevant.

No mention of the fact that Ryan Reynolds is the ex-husband of Colin Jost’s fiancee Scarlet Johansson?

Hastings-on-Hudson, also home of the first season of Divorce!  By name!  And not always spoken well of!

I just keep thinking that a mind-reader/empath would be much more valuable as a DA, to know who to prosecute, than as a defense attorney.

I actually added ND to my list of shows, and then removed it once I realized that yes, there are real non-Scooby-Doo ghosts involved.

You’re just rewriting Monster Mash now.

Now playing

Not just the premise: as far I can tell the music is identical, with different lyrics.

I’ll note that Ep 2 has a total length of 33 minutes...and the credits begin at about 4:30 from the end.

Disney+ will never have any of Fox’s non-family-friendly movies, because that’s the (Disney) brand. (I did notice The Sound of Music in the grid — hey, you don’t fool me buddy, that’s no Disney film...)

I’ll raise that some: ever since I rented a place where the fridge had an ice maker, I’m never going back to ice trays.  Fortunately my next fridge (bought a condo with fridge already in it) had a post-market icemaker option, which I gladly paid for and paid to have installed.

I see you, man.  (I don’t understand anything about Kinja so I don’t know if that’s meaningful.)

Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes is there.  Two seasons, so if that’s all they made it’s all there.

On the “face mask is totally convincing” thing: jeez, that guy had really weird teeth.  Just pasting a new face on wouldn’t replicate that.  And yet!

I realize the rules as announced don’t say this, but I feel that any show that has been on TV every year in the 2010s should be eligible.

Would you believe...
