I think I understand what the guards were thinking, but it doesn’t exactly help their case. Someone told them “a black guy stole a shirt”. They go out and do the search, round 1. They now see there is MORE THAN ONE BLACK MAN HERE! So they go back inside and ask whoever, “can you describe him any better?” And ...no,

— Did I understand correctly that the narrator lost interest in NYC when he heard there were more single women than single men? Interesting.

It’s a animated series; so no reshooting.  Plenty of real MCU voices have been announced as participating, although I didn’t see RDJr.

Lifetime Movies have moved to a strong “what it says on the tin” philosophy with regard to titles: later today we have Psycho Granny and Seduced By Stranger, along with less-obvious titles. And sometimes they get into a groove — Friday we have, in succession:

I was confused by the headline, as I’ve never heard ”goes in on”; at first reading I thought it was “goes all in on [Trump]” which would be the opposite.

They’re MINERALS, Marie!

I’m always amazed how the MCU makes 3 movies a year but generates enough “inside sources” info for about ten.

This is why they used to put missing kids on milk cartons.

And always refers to them as “the band Du Jour”.

Torrented it.

You know...you can add a switch to any circuit.  (If you know where the wire goes, at least.)

Also, that sentence doesn’t end! There’s no editing? At all?

Sometimes you’re going to the airport from where you were traveling.  It’s called “going home”.

Q: What do you call the person who graduates last in their class at med school?

Just saw it on an airplane, 11 months later.

[Seeing it late in the cycle...]

You sound like you’re also old enough to remember “On video or laserdisc!”  (Yes, lasers were once advertised.)

In addition, the subhead “Why buy when you can stream?” is nonsense. Streaming just means that there is no copy of the video on your device. If you “buy” a video on any of these services and access it over the Internet, you’re streaming.

Crazy streaming searching: Roku claimed Amazon has it for $2. I went into the Amazon app and searched for it manually, and it has it for free (with ads) as part of the imdb channel which I guess is one of the Amazon “channels”, or maybe there’s also an imdb app? Anyway, if you’re actually interested, try some of that.

On Bye Bye Birdie — you know what’s better than the 1960s movie? The TV 1990s version with Jason Alexander and Vanessa Williams.
