Baby Lily is a different...person? (hard to say actress for a baby) from Lily With Lines, who first appeared at the start of season 3. Since then it’s been the same kid. Her adoption is a key plot point in the pilot, so if she’s not seen, she’s just...not seen this week.

“Hey, there are no ads on DVDs, which Netflix is apparently still sending out.”

Stephen Fry’s Making History takes the first approach.

More things I thought of to highlight:

And, as they rolled the credits on the last episode of Trial&Error, I learned that Jaleel White had a small role in it.

This joke came into my head a few months ago, and I kept thinking: “OK, where did I hear that?” I don’t for a moment think it was original to me. Although for a second after reading this I thought “Holy cow, what if I did make it up?” But I don’t even think I posted it.

Yes, as promised, they changed the Combination to the City!

Logically I now just visualize people running in succession from one room to another, which probably means I’m safe in the room I’m in. (I’m alone now.)

Key question: should this guy’s posts flagged as “harassment” or “hate speech”? Probably the second.

OK, just gonna vent here about something that still pisses me off, close to 20 years later: around 2002, E-Trade had a commercial making fun of failed stocks like pets.com (I remember the puppet that represented it in the ad). And I’m thinking, fuck you, you made money when people bought that stock, and again when

This may be sacrilege, but: I’m pretty bored by the long scenes of “why is he doing that”? Even with Mike, let alone the Cousins.

So did I, but then I remembered that Jimmy already knows Huell..he used him in “Chicanery” to plant the phone on Chuck.

And having said that, I’ll point out that I don’t have TCM, because it costs more. Because it has no commercials. And it’s AMC that had the money to make Mad Men and Breaking Bad. These are not unrelated facts.

Based on my experience looking up stuff on eBay, the one in the office might be something that looks like the valuable one, but darn, it doesn’t have the blue trim or something, so it’s not.

Isn’t the remark that “one of the classic movie channels is showing Jaws 3D” is a friendly snipe at the channel that used to proudly be “American Movie Classics”?

That phrase “Until you ask us to rewrite it like Brad Kern did weekly” from her tweet suggests a whole bunch of things that I bet are disputable. And on the other hand, I discover that show runner Brad Kern is the “NCIS show runner” who has been accused of...stuff...recently. And here’s Alyssa Milano on that:

Here’s how I parsed that headline:

SUNUVVA.....

Well, AS IT TURNED OUT...

I honestly think this has an Arrested-Development level of joke density and cross referencing. I especially admired the bit about the combination to the city (“8"), and the capper: “We already changed it seven times, we can change it again.”
