Unity games are often janky. The default character movement animations are bad and uniform across a lot of games. Assets often feel copied and pasted in. Their menus and buttons are a little off.

I’m like 15 hours in. It’s pretty damn good. On par with Divinity: OS for completely different reasons. Better than Wasteland 2. Not quite Baldurs Gate, but it’s a fantastic CRPG.

It’s a 3D point and click adventure. It’s more interactive than say Wolf Among Us. But you know that. You just hate Gone Home for whatever litany of reasons people choose to hate the game.

Any card game has randomness involved. Hearthstone certainly has a lot of it, but playing well is still something to be applauded. The RNG exists equally for anyone. So playing within those confines and understanding how RNG affects the game is important and takes skill. Look at Arena, which is literally as RNG…

I currently live in Chicago. I really dig NYC and part of me wants to live there. I could afford it too. But when I think about living in some 300sqft studio I just move on. Same with San Fran. At some point the bullshit isn’t worth it.

Finally getting into Pillars of Eternity. I’m about 7 hours in and really enjoying my time. The writing is top notch, the environments are nice and the music is great.

Just gonna throw out that Neverwinter has a pretty fun combat system. It’s not a bad little F2P MMO. Cool D&D lore, very easy to play solo. I’d imagine the PvP is totally P2W since there is a cash shop, but the core game is worth checking out for the low price 0f $0.
