"both Nillin and Clementine are voiced by white actors quite literally removing their blackness"

"There's *barely* a story in HL2"

Daggerfalls map was procedural generated. It's not the best comparison. More man-hours go into games now. Whether that means the maps are 100x larger or the textures 100x more detailed doesn't really matter.

Eh, some were even $70. Plus when you take inflation into account, the cost of games have absolutely gone down.

If everyone has the same deck what differentiates the good from the bad? Skill. There are plenty of shitty players out there running great decks.

Grim Fandango, Life is Strange and re-visiting Mass Effect 1.

So one the one hand you have the credibility of Kickstarter at risk, on the other you have your own immature platform preferences. And you're torn on whether or not you want it to succeed? Grow up.

It's published by Square-Enix and done by a developer that previously had a cross-platform game. Not indie ;)

"That's how internet-savvy twentysomethings like to pretend teens speak."

With the exception that both take places in the Pacific Northwest, there is absolutely nothing similar about them at all.

I would be very surprised if the devs at Don'tNod hadn't taken cues from Gone Home. The games play very differently, but there is an attention to detail in re-creating high school that is very consistent in both games.

It's not that bad. It's easily ignored anyway. It's also deliberate.

Yes and no. He's always been a goofball but he's fallen back on it *hard* the past 5 or so years. He's basically playing a caricature of himself at this point. His show was completely different 10-15 years ago.

How to hit on girls? Don't. If the opportunity presents itself, talk to them.

It's a stretch but an MMA fighter could submit one guy pretty quickly while the other was punching/kicking away at the two of them on the ground. Regardless any blue-belt in BJJ could snap Mayweathers arm while Manny was fighting someone else, and then move on to Manny.

"I mean there's the fact Broken Age STILL isn't out"

"The controls will either work for some or not as well to others, but you, yourself? You can't adapt. Don't take this as an insult, because it's not meant to be, but... It's not the controls that are bad, it's you."

Aside from being very cinematic (and admittedly good at it) there isn't anything particularly engaging about the Witchers story in and of itself.

Yeah...I don't get it. I'll give Witch 2 another shot in the near future, but I don't get it. It's a very story-driven RPG which is nice, but there is nothing about the story that grabbed me. The characters are fine, again nothing great. The game has some serious issues as well.

"had no issues with the controls what so ever"
