I think my only complaints would be I wasn’t keen on the ghost effects and they were kinda treating ectoplasm like slime on nickleodeon. other than that, it’s exactly what i was wanting to see. Am really hoping they find a place for the original Ray Parker Jr theme.

Kun Lun, where the immortal iron fists are taught, is an alien city, not an asian one. So why exactly should the character be asian? Within the context of the setting, making him asain and learning an alien race’s fighting art would also be appropriation.

Didn’t say anything about you saying he should asian. Just that Kun Lun isn’t an asian city. Danny Rand could be any race since he’s not coming from that city itself.

Yeah this episode just sucked for me. It’s like trying to cram a half seasons worth of mythology into this episode and the first. And mythology that made no sense given the other 9 seasons established by the series. Seriously, the bees and hybrids and alien rebels all just a sham to cover this up? ugh
