This was a good finale, but it wasn’t great. For a great superhero show finale, I’d reference the first season finale of Arrow. Even this seasons Agents of Shield finale I think was better overall. This Flash finale is carried by the quality of the show overall and that the writers hit the exact right emotional beats…

This show does so many things right but what it does badly, it does so badly. Like the writing of Iris. It’s like the opposite of Gotham. Gotham is terrible but the one or two things it does right it does really well. I guess you could say Gotham is the Reverse Flash. :) *Rimshot*
