Nah man, that’s some next level human pretzel twisting to imagine guilt where there probably isn’t any.

Maybe there's a reason that the people who actually work with her are defending her while some random on Jezebel is assuming the worst?

Sadly, there seem to be a few people posting here who would gladly tell you that locking the backpack up without taking a dollar from it was part of her criminal scheme.

We both know the answer to this lol.

Right, like, at the end of the day she basically a Biden spokesperson. Unless you agree with everything Biden does, she’s bound to use her skills for “bad” reasons during her tenure as well as “good.”

Sure but it’s not her fucking fault the state Supreme Court removed her ability to make emergency declarations without approval from the state legislature. She literally can’t do as you suggest without convincing a bunch of conservative Republican dumbasses to go along with it, which isn’t going to happen.

I’m only saying this because of the anonymity of the internet, and I’m confident no one can trace this (burner) account to my real identity. Because if what I’m about to admit about myself ever came out, I would lose my family, my friends, my career, everything. But I know it was wrong, and I deserve every bit of

What is there to dismiss? I think the GoP has made their position abundantly clear: we will continue to cry foul whenever we don’t get exactly what we want, and we will continue to use bad actors in key positions to advance these political temper tantrums, and we will continue relying on 70 million + idiots to prop us

Their goal is less about succeeding in overturning the election and more about ensuring enough of the country views Biden’s Presidency as illegitimate.

It it literally meaningless. Reform lets people think they’re about something when nothing of substance is actually being done, that’s why they prefer that word and are talking shit about defunding.

Just look up and read the gleeful posts by a Black centrist about how glad she is that AOC is being ‘put on blast’. You know, because of her heinous crimes of...speaking her mind and not kowtowing to the Dem power base.

I’m still struck by the inanity of attacking progressives for losses in moderate seats. What did the candidates campaign on? What did they talk about when they engaged voters?

People aren’t confused by “defund the police” or think it’s bad messaging. They don’t want it and are just too ashamed to say that. We all know why white people don’t want the police to lose even a little bit of their power. A lot of the older black generation has that Pound Cake mentality too, they just don’t have

Well, sweetie, (Don’t fucking call me honey that’s why I’m dismissing your ass) given that he’s entrenched by incumbancy (and probalby gerrymandering) I’m not about to take advice from some old fucker who has been the Black face of feckless White Democratic fuckery for decades about how things should be when he hasn’t

In continuing efforts to not rock the boat, i see the party is in full swing of trying to discredit if not outright attack AOC and other progressives of the party. The ink is not even dry and they are trying to snuggle into their nest of banality.

Perhaps Democrats should stop worrying about what the fuck Republicans are saying about them and concentrate on doing things for their base rather than quaking in fear at Republican name calling and doing nothing whilst demanding votes election after election.

The “Don’t rock the boat” party is boldly laying the groundwork for not rocking the boat. This is why they lose, not because people with bold agendas get out and fight for them, but because lazy assholes who don’t want to jeopardize their place in the system won’t rock the boat for the things they were voted to do.

He also blamed Jamie Harrison’s loss to longtime South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham on the abolitionist slogan, despite Harrison explicitly saying he opposes “all of these efforts to defund the police.”

Why is it baffling? Moderates have been doing that forever. They are far more afraid of the progressive left than they are of the regressive right, and it shows. They wanted to appeal to the center-right moderates, failed and are blaming progressives for that failure, instead of looking at why and how their appeals

Yep. Thanks to the organizing efforts of people like Stacy Abrams, the turnout in urban Democratic strongholds like Atlanta, Philadelphia, Detroit were key to flipping the key states. And yet (mostly) white moderate centrists in the House are already blaming progressives in the House, who are largely people of color
