Yeah, but not without two rolls. I mean, it's possible that she could have gotten enough info from the first roll to realize if it's a success or failure, but still. It's not like we didn't see the bag of dice that the guy had on him already, so we know he's got more than the single d20.

Usually people roll 2d10 for that, and it's a standard part of any dice set.

But at that point, she only leveled them up to "slightly less than two attacks per round for the fighter." So, using 3.x, the only DnD edition that matters, that's 4th level. Still not what I'd expect to be Lich-fighting levels.
