Maybe they're playing gestalt characters, and he's a Paladin/Ranger!

Eh. You don't have to be crooked to want to just take the win and not look deeper into it. Just generally ambitious. And I really don't think he knew the shot was coming. Given the way he hulked out like that, I think it was a set up by Fillmore Graves.
Or they knew that people like you and me would do this kind of thing, so they intentionally screwed it up.
True, but they started off with a mere pittance of gold. less than a hundred GP. That's 1st level money.
Pretty sure he said he was a paladin. Especially with the whole "Sir Jay" bit.
At first level, 30+ HP worth of damage would oneshot any likely starting character. Not even a barbarian with maxed out con and toughness could tank that.
That is fair. I mean, ok, we saw him DMing, but he made his money playing poker. Surely that would have had a larger impact on his (and thus her) psyche.
AND!
What are the odds of that?
U-Haul lesbians. It's got its own wikipedia article.
Also, I hope that the computer genius they've got is a legit computer genius, and is just messing with them in the trailer.
I mean, we don't know that he doesn't have claws.
I think he could really go places.
Football ball.
I disagree. Wait a while, and make him charming, and enough of the audience would be willing to accept it.
"Those could be ANYONE'S pieces!"
Next season they'll be addressing (I assume) him.
Yeah. "Adrian Chase" is an alias he used to cover up his connection to whoever it was that Ollie murdered in the first season.
He's going to be the Baxter Stockman (2003 version) of Arrow.
Though the two canaries fighting could have been better handled. Two women with long hair and coats spinning and jumping around in a dark hallway? A bit hard to figure out who was doing what to whom.
