The stupid girlfriend is the nicest character in the movie and she delivers the movie’s central theme. She also is the only character in the movie who is genuinely a good person and doing good things. She works with animals and the disabled.

The town does not have a reputation for white officer brutalizing black citizens. Rockwell was accused of torturing a black subject. A thing he repeatedly denies throughout the movie. Including insisting that the correct term “PoC” be used AND stating that he wouldn’t torture PoC because “his Momma wouldn’t like that.”

Exactly. Deep down, no matter what they felt before he coughs...the second he does, they instantly become two people who recognize each other’s humanity.

I didn’t even like the movie that much and I found myself defending it solely because people clearly didn’t understand the movie and were projecting all this crap at it that the movie is not even trying to address.

He also seems to be unable to separate his character of Dr. DisRespect from Guy Beahm. He plays up the asshole character but then doesn’t draw a line between “character” and “actor” and uses things from his real life to defend the actions taken by his character. A trained performer or someone with a better grasp on

And note how very specific this “impulsive” behavior is. He’s not having fits. He’s not having outbursts. He’s ONLY having this impulsive behavior toward women. And the ONLY impulsive behavior he’s displaying is cornering women so he can be sexually predatory.

Most people with traumatic brain injuries who can’t control their behavior aren’t savvy enough to corner someone in an isolated hallway with no witnesses and proceed to make repeated sexually aggressive overtures that they lie about later.

This is exactly what it is. He doesn’t understand depression or suicidal ideation, so he’s projecting based on his own experiences WHY someone would have that desire. And his mind, the only reason a person would feel that way is because they want someone to pay attention to them.

I knew a dude once who sounded a lot like this guy. He literally had no concept of depression and would just lecture me endlessly about how people are either “strong willed” or “weak willed” and that was just it in his mind. I never even bothered trying to correct him because he had no concept of depression AT ALL.

You’re talking to one of those people. I am a rape survivor. And there is quite possibly child pornography taken of me from my rape currently floating around the deepweb because that shit never goes away.

“And ok, some find it deplorable. But on the other side of the coin, no one is being hurt here. No celebs were harmed in the making of these films. The main appeal is not in the forcing, it is in the end product. It is a believable recreation of someones fantasy, one that until now, only existed in the minds of

I was arguing with people on the world of warcraft forums once because a black guy asked for black skin tones or at least to restore the ones from vanilla and I said, “This is reasonable. People should be able to represent themselves in a game they play.” and people started arguing with me about how it was against

It wasn’t just IT guys before Metallica’s lawsuit. I was in college before they filed their lawsuit and everyone used Napster. And trust me when I say that my pothead friends who used Napster to trade Phish bootlegs didn’t know jack shit about computers.

It sounds like he knows full well there’s no tape, so rather than argue about whether or not he played on a MAME’d machine, he just denies and says “Go find the tape” because he knows there’s no tape to find.

There’s also the idea that if Vee-Jay records hadn’t been forced to give up The Beatles to Capitol records after their president almost drove the company into bankruptcy over gambling debts that a Black owned record company would have been behind the most successful and culturally impacting rock n’ roll act of all

The best and only Manson story I like is from Robert Ressler’s book Whoever Fights Monsters. He goes to interview Manson for the behavioral science project that eventually became Criminal Profiling and Manson is just being full on Manson. That thing where he is half Biblical Prophet, Half Crazed Monkeyman. Ressler

The older I get, the less “beyond a reasonable doubt” makes sense in a “he said, she said” situation like rape. It’s not “he said, she said” when the SHE has a burden of proof so high that it’s no longer “he said, she said” it’s “prove the bitch ain’t lying.”

Not only that but initially the comedian Kurt Metzger went to bat really hard for the guy solely based on the idea of someone being ruined by a whisper campaign to the point that it cost him a gig writing for Amy Schumer’s show and him being called a Rape Apologist but after having a lengthy talk with ONE of this

That show was so damn underrated and Uncle Deadly was one of the best parts of it.

That’s exactly what it is. If they can minimize it enough then they are not only off the hook, they don’t have to examine their own behavior, they don’t have to think about what they do and be analytical at all, heck...they don’t even have to FEEL BAD.
