There’s literally something new every day and I don’t think it’s ever been like this. I can’t help this feeling that my once-stable government is destabilizing.

I recently had 3 weeks off and didn’t read or listen to the news the entire time. It was glorious -I was so much less stressed. I used to be a political junkie but it’s become too depressing and might turn me into a “real” junkie if I keep it up.

I’ve had that same feeling and I’ve had trouble articulating it. This is literally the worst outcome imaginable. Not just him winning the election but every single decision he’s made since then. It’s fucking terrifying. And the news coming out every day is just getting worse and worse.

Seriously, with each new thing I read I keep asking myself “What the fucking fuck is going on?” and THERE ARE NO ANSWERS. Words fail me.

I couldn’t hear a word she was saying because I was staring at how her nose was a different age than the rest of her face, and how her wrinkles didn’t move! I was thinking “do noses not wrinkle?” and “do Japanese features age differently and maybe I’m just racist for assuming all old people age the same?”
