I really hope that Rob Lowe is sober coaching Efron in character as Chris Traeger. Because it would be amazing. (And I will now queue up Parks & Rec on Netflix for inspiration while I work from home for the remainder of the afternoon and evening.)

I think she may have may have made herself a bit unrecognizable with various procedures. Bummer, she was fun to watch!

I figured if anyone out there remembered and loved this flick, it would be people on Jezebel!

That picture of Bob Newhart made me all upset, like finding my grandfather fell and I'm feeling both super concerned and guilty like I should have somehow prevented it. Overly emotional day that now has me tearing up over a celebrity photo. Oh life.

These pictures make me irrationally overjoyed and also thinking that I should like to try colored eyeliner. Though I will purchase it, try it, and immediately regret it.

Not a scientologist, just a general wackadoodle. I confess to having read her most recent book about growing up Catholic on the South Side of Chicago, mainly because I did the same a few parishes over from her. The parts of her being a very intense young Catholic and aspiring to be a nun were pretty hilarious.

The nonprofit professional in me likes Joshua Malina's tweet, because sentiments without a specific call to action are a dime a dozen. And as the recipient of blood transfusions, I appreciate any and all blood donors.

That would probably be the culmination of all of my TV fantasies. It might need a vampire or two, but other than that, perfection.

Seconded times a million. I'm adjusting to some new meds that can cause anxiety as a side effect, so every little thing feels like an avalanche and I'm desperately trying to keep some rational perspective from under the chemical deluge. I hope your day gets better and that your tears were cathartic.

Done and done. :)

I now desperately want to go home and put sunglasses on my Jack Russell Terrier for giggles.

Confessions of a two-year student council president, or what I got out of my weird little experience:

I think there needs to be a dedicated board, a la Groupthink, to misread headlines on Jez. It would be like those books of misread song lyrics that made me practically pee my pants every time I picked one up.

I second your nomination.

This might be the best comment regarding wedding etiquette I've ever read. Bravo!

Not even 10 minutes ago, I was reading my alumni magazine from my weird arts college in Chicago when I discovered that Andy Richter went there, and suddenly the world made a great deal of sense.

I once slapped the drummer from No Doubt on the ass. But I asked first, and seeing it would totally make my decade, he consented.

Good call. I may watch it myself now.
