Ah...the R8...if only I had the cash...

I thought we all agreed never to bring the IDx up ever again.

When the guests did not return to the vessel at the all aboard time, their passports were delivered to the local port agents to retrieve when they returned to the port.”

I was changing a flat tire on my bicycle when a guy rolled up in an F-250 with the infamous 6.4 PSD and admonished me to buy a Harley because it was more reliable. I thought he was kidding and started laughing. But he kept going, so I think he was serious. I wished him luck with his pickup before he took off.

And, they don’t have to give up on the Supercharger network either

I’ve been in the Tesla demographic since their inception. I was 100% on board with going EV until I drove a Tesla way back in 2012. After sitting in the car I was OUT long before I knew anything about Elon Musk.

We’re in the 99.8% band and the entire city is acting like they’re prepping for the apocalypse. If I can even be bothered to remember when the eclipse starts I’m just going to walk out in the front yard and watch for a bit (I bought glasses months ago because I remember how expensive they got in the weeks leading up).

Pro tip: if you’re driving to an area inside the 100% eclipse border, do your best to avoid highways. They’re expected to be packed. I wouldn’t bother with any major cities either. .Take some back roads to somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Pack a lunch, and enjoy some nature with one of nature’s greatest shows.

Oh, they let you out of your compound again?

I think this is exactly what we are seeing. I’m in kind of the same boat. Looking to switch my Prius for an EV, but I absolutely DO NOT want to buy a Tesla. I don’t even really want to buy a snap-depreciated Tesla, despite the fact it is a compelling value proposition. Perhaps the most compelling value proposition in

I think it’s just confirmation bias talking. There are so many Teslas on the road these days it’s not hard to find examples of bad drivers. Personally I don’t see any difference in a Tesla driver’s ability and that of any other car. There are good, and there are bad. Jeep Cherokee drivers on the other hand...

This is the Chevy Cavalier of the Nissan world from back then. It was a great car. Reliable as all hell. But just like I don’t care about driving a mint-condition Cavalier, I don’t care about driving this either.

... or AC.

Nighthack Black Pearl was a great color. Loved it on my TL as it wasn’t actually black.  At night pretty much looked black but in sun a closer look would bring out various colors.

Yes, we should be moving to more mass transit and less commuting. We should strive for walkable cities and other programs that reduce our use of individual vehicles.

A little surprised NOT to see this on the list. It makes me doubletake every time I see it on a summer day - regardless of what model its on .... and I wish every other car manufacturer offered it.

It’s amazing how good Soul Red looks on every one of their models. This was going to be my everyday best color. Bit my favorite (and particular to a model) would have to be the classic 930 with a whale tail, black shard in fender protectors, in Guards Red. When the wife allows me to expand the garage (and I actually

Grammar police and a phallic joke all in one comment? It’s a shame this site only let’s me grant you one star for your achievements

Yep. If you want electric and have no need for more than 30 miles of driving a day, consider a 1st gen leaf. I think for $10k, you can get a Leaf with a dead battery and have Nissan install a new battery in it.  Or get a Leaf with a working today battery for $5k or so and roll the dice.

I’ve never owned a Nissan and don’t even consider myself partial to the brand, but I was genuinely disappointed when they killed any plans for the IDX going into production.
