I suspect most people are still actively trying to forget the LaForza.

this doesn’t mean that military pilots should eject at the first possible sign of trouble
But, I am moving to a more rural area and I need a truck, not a Race Car.
Probably the biggest hoodwinking in history was conservative politics convincing people that they have their back while their neighbour is their enemy.
Counter point:
I’m ok with the voting the last couple days. Might mean some enthusiasts aren’t looking when I decide to buy another Miata and get an XJS. Deals! Now to hope for the same with the thing (not looking good). I’d absolutely buy one, even though they are quite horrible. It’s smile inducing, and we need more of that. NP
I saw a Tempo limo conversion last weekend, so it can’t be all bad.
Lots of people think of the positive impact of the Model T only… it certainly was an important industrial and societal milestone - that can’t be denied. But It can be that and really bad.
Nice!
Awesome! There’s a group near me that does similar drives too...one day I’ll join!
I can’t say no to an XJS. I just love them that much. I’ve told the story of almost buying the most expensive $4k car ever as a 17 year old around here before…and wiser/older me is pretty sure that had I bought that car, it might have impacted my ability at go to university. Doesn’t matter. Especially in BRG. I’ll…
I want to know what the car on the left is. Toronado?
Y’all keep asking, but the answer is obvious:
Cammisa’s latest video over at Hagerty is a pretty good look at VW in America. Pretty sure he’s right too. VW needs something that isn’t a nameless blob to sell to Americans. Has nothing to do with their electrification efforts per se, they just seem to make boring crap all the time. One could argue that they were…
I don’t think they’ll be the same size... the Scout might be a chonker if the size of the bed is an indication. I’m thinking it’s Lightning-sized.
Ohhh... I forgot about that.
It’s not the Pinto or Mustang II. Not by a long shot. That’s just feeding urban legends.
The miles aren’t really a problem. People think they are, but they’re thinking like this is a Neon or something.
This has been a relatively big problem on Toronto’s highways. It’s calmed in recent years as the number of dash cams rise, but they are still more frequent than you’d like.
With care, you could get another 100k out of this. $8k for 100k of travel is pretty reasonable. It’s even better considering the capability and (apparent) condition. NP.
