I’d wrap it.

This is true.

Corolla drivers.

Yeah.. the “Fuck Trudeau” flag crowd up here in Canada has created dual sided version with “Every child matters” on one side and their wish for intercourse with our Prime Minister on the other.

Yes!  Budget idiots!

Are there enough drivers of these things to know they’re idiots yet?

Possibly the best reply of the day.

That’s because you need to be that far into your career to afford one up here.

This really highlights anther shitstorm related to automotive subscriptions. Which maybe hasn’t gotten enough talk time. I assume automakers will exclude transferability. If you can make revenue on a feature for the full life of the car, they will.

I was really hoping to see it at the same car show… Volvo brought everything but the EX30. It does look fantastic.

That’s a good point. Ideally, that’s an Audi A3, S3, and RS3. And automakers have traditionally wanted more margin for something that is a retune. BUT - it’s already happening with EVs.

Makes sense. If you can afford the Bugatti, you’ll need trunk space for your matched set of Corinthian leather suitcases when you spend weekends at the chalet. The Chiron only has a small frunk and it’s not possible to spend 1.5 days away with only an overnight bag.  Imagine the horror!  The only choice is to have

If this happened in Canada, dude would be talking about a hospital stay after driving his sled into a SeaKing.

This is the key.

Specifically - subscriptions for software that relies on services external to your car. That I’m ok with. Server and satellite time isn’t free.

This was a standout car for me at the Toronto Autoshow... until the very nice Polestar person informed me of the price.

I’m a little torn. Ultimately, it’s a good car for $4k and way better than an 8 year loan on a Rogue. So certainly a NP.

Ahhh GTFO. For us:

Yeah... the problems started with PD2. PayDay was fun! Played it with friends quite a lot. We still reference some of the dialog as we’re working through our second BG3 playthrough. So, it was natural that we’d play PD2. And it was fine. At first.

I will always think it’s hilarious Top Gear rated it the worst car ever.  Meanwhile, it fits the description of future collectible pretty perfectly.  And I think those two things together puts it in a great spot for folks who know…the prices are pretty reasonable!
