I agree that the number on injuries on the low end could be near 0 (and I do think the likelihood of it being closer to zero is higher - they did test a sample of 900 cars and found 0 faults). When I was much younger, I remember the introduction of rectangular headlights. I thought the future had arrived. Cars with round headlamps were so passe. Now when I look at this, I just wish it was a teeny bit older, and a lot less square.

I haven’t seen any actual data to support it. Just opinions and conjecture, therefore, myth. JD Power does have data that says it isn’t a big issue, and I’d welcome more. I tend to think that it’s something that can be filed along with Friday cars - simply not the problem people think it is.
