I missed this the first time… did the Jimny not come up? Or was it too obvious a choice?

Seems like somebody needed to clean their crumb trap a little bit more!

Nah... the main reason it wouldn’t happen is because Tesla is doing just fine tanking it on their own. The only reason BYD does this is to leverage the Tesla brand...and if it’s shit, then I don’t see the benefit for them. It’s not yet...and CT might just repair a bunch of damage. Partnering with BYD to enhance sales

I’m half expecting “something” between BYD and Tesla. BYD is absolutely looking at the North American market, but doesn’t have a brand for it. Tesla needs affordable EVs.  Maybe they’ll work together?  Maybe BYD will try something more?

C4 is my favourite Vette, and the ZR1 is super cool.  I’d be tempted to roll the dice.  I know right away that everything rubber and the brakes need inspection/replacement, so budgeting for that.  I’d start with the starting problem though - if that’s a bigger PITA I’m betting there’s another Vette fan that’ll take it

The thing I don’t get: This tale is as old as car-based GPS at this point. Whether it’s “took me on a dirt road,” or “drove me into a lake,” we’ve been hearing about blind obedience to this technology for decades. I don’t think it’s possible for people to have not heard a story of a trip gone wrong because of GPS.

The dealer quote in this article missed the part where the dealers claimed they are the voice of their customer:

I love the e30 wagon as much as the next guy, but $28k?

Easiest ND in ages. This is big, dumb and stupid. There’s no price that would have me thinking there’s a deal here.

I couldn’t imagine spending any money on a Granada, let alone almost $10k.

Might be a nice price for someone looking to buy a Viper and mod it up to 1500 hp. Maybe this is a cheaper route? I don’t know. I have no desire for a Viper that’s 3x more unruly than they are stock (assuming the unruly scale is linear with hp gains...it probably isn’t). A stock one at stock Viper prices would be much

Might also indirectly explain why L4D3 didn’t happen. The second ended up being the refinement of the vision, and isn’t an actual sequel.

I honestly thought I’d never see another stock Forester XT. It’s a wee bit of a unicorn, but not enough to warrant the price. Drop the price by 15% and it’s much closer to where it should be. I always liked this iteration, and an unmolested XT for $12k would have me interested. ND.

Your timing is great! I was just driving home today and was stopped at a red light. It turned green. I didn’t go right away.

Based on what we know of idiots that don’t seem to understand what FSD is actually capable of, and based on some of the outlandish claims we’ve heard on this thing, I fully expect all of the following to happen:

It kinda bugs me that this is actually a decent price. My heart wants a 15 year old truck to be well under $10k, but that’s just not where the market is.

There’s nothing in the video that shows that.  Just an interesting cut in the footage.
