I was thinking something similar. The one problem might be lack of statistics to really know how many people have accidents, or die, on these roads. I’d bet most incidents aren’t even reported. Maybe they’re worse than we think? So while a bunch of these roads are indeed terrifying, I think knowing that they are

I’m sure data and testing are part of the decision making.

Really defensive of Mazda’s BSM aren’t you? That diagram actually kind of confirms how much it sucks. 164 ft behind the vehicle? When in traffic, and everybody is going about the same speed, that means it’s beeping at you for cars that are 5 car lengths back…maybe more. Which is exactly my experience with it, and

Very cool. Sits in the category of “ I couldn’t build it for that price” so I’m in. I also kinda love step side trucks.  NP.

to save himself having to go into his narrow side yard once a month to move seven cans out for pickup.

2014 and 2016.5 (respectively).

Nope. Never. For any amount.

Ontario checking in. The most common car is probably a Toyota Corolla. They’re ubiquitous among drivers that just want to get from A to B without worrying about reliability or paying attention to their surroundings. I always tense up when I see one around me because they generally do crazy unexpected things...and

That seems to be the story of about every urban area.  SUV’s, Full-size trucks, and vehicles that can be had over 8 - 10 years with iffy credit.

I have been humbled behind the wheel more times than I can count. Most of them when I was young and stupid. There are times as I age where I realized I still have much to learn. For example, goosing a dual motor Model 3 for the first time when you’ve had nothing but 4 cylinder cars for the previous 20 years. I’m

I bet that comes up in a couple years at the anniversary party!

Is that 4.9 out of 5?  Or out of 10?  :)

I assume this happens more often than people think on domestic flights. Part of the reason why airlines will be adamant that there is no “lost” luggage, only “delayed”. IIRC, international flights stay pretty firm with matching all luggage on board with passengers, so the chances of luggage taking the scenic route are

This is one of the cars of my childhood. It’s a car that my father thought was a good deal for some reason. It didn’t last long in the family driveway and was replaced by a k-car within a few months. I remember asking him why he bought such an old 70's car and he informed me that it was only 3 years old. This was ‘86.

Do people actually use blind spot indicators?

I have.

The article it’s referenced in was written in ‘22.  As I mentioned.

This is the only right answer.
