Honestly torn. It’s definitely not a $12k car. That’s just the price of purchase. Sourcing parts for this as it breaks might not be fun, but might not be as bad as some limited run cars of the 70’s. It’s kind of shocking to see all the things in the pictures that was clearly Lotus just trying to get a car out.

This has some recency because the boys from Throttlehouse just did a tribute car and drove it a 1000 miles in a series of episodes that rivals early top gear.

Dammit! That was my answer.

Don’t forget about the whole “infrastructure is an important part of the vehicle’s value” that Tesla understood, and no one else really seems to get.

Rubber mallet... fine.

Maybe the “Create a safe room” post should have come after “make friends in prison” post?

With the mileage and condition, I’d really like it to be half this price.  Maybe $3k.  But the truck market always seems to be a bit bonkers. I’m at ND, mostly because I don’t think I’d ever buy something for $5k that has over 200k miles.

I was recently gobsmacked by information from family that has young kids in the US. 1) That their school has a panic room for the entire school to bail to if there’s an active shooter. 2) That there are active shooter drills that happen on a regular basis. 3) That parents aren’t warned or notified in any way when

I have never heard of it being called ‘Hellstrip’ before.

I originally thought an easy ND. This thing is ugly. And nobody desired them back in the day. And they drove like shit. Though 17 year old me did have fun with the V8 in one, even if it was a late malaise 318.

And Pearson is worse than all of these.  They’d figure out a way to score 127 out of 100.

Right?  I didn’t think this happened.  Like, ever.

How ever you do this, don’t make the first movie Freddie vs Jason.

Most of lakeshore near Exhibition will be nuts…and all the cars will need to use other roads so they’ll be more nuts than normal. There’s usually festivities going on through the downtown core too…the hotels are all full…and yeah, this time there will be 40k extra people near the dome too. My friends in Toronto

Use Freemind.  Open source and multi platform - doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of paid apps, but it does the core job really well.

That interior alone is gag worthy. ND.

Ohh... nice reminder: “Stay away from Toronto this weekend.”

Yeah…the math doesn’t add up on that one. 8000 ft wouldn’t be a levitating attendant for a few seconds. 8000 ft is about the maximum a plane can descend within a minute…so if the distance was right, that would be a cabin full of screaming passengers for a minute.

Not true. Taxes are used to discourage behaviour all the time.
