Exactly what I thought too. I’ve always marvelled at the Fit, and there are a couple times where I should have bought one instead of what I ended up getting.

I’ve always been fond of the C30. If this ends up being the current day equivalent of the C30, I’m in. Even if it is more CUV than hatchback. Though I’ll be even happier if the call it a CUV whereas it’s actually just a slightly taller hatch (kinda like the Bolt EUV).
LOL.
For the number 1 item, I’ve been using Alton Brown’s method for a while now, and it works surprisingly well.
No… people really don’t get that about data.
Even though I know I’d never fit in one, it’s an easy NP. Maybe there’s something I can do to lower the seat a bit? No idea. Anyhoo, it’s a super cool car and would be totally worth it.
Maybe that’s an emergency ladder on the back. Something to get something off the roof racks. Sensibility would say “bike rack”, but I don’t see how a bike would stay put given their high-ish centre of gravity.
Slightly puzzled by the insurance thing. Here in Canada, Insurance companies have been doing lookups against a database of driver’s licenses for almost as long as one existed. You simply can’t get insurance without a valid license.
A couple of thing I’d love to see Subaru consider:
subject to a content approval system to maintain a safe atmosphere.
It does contain a sin, however, in the form of enormous chrome five-spoke wheels
Throttlehouse has been doing Top Gear level videos for a while now (including guest appearances from Mr. Harris himself), and are definitely worth subscribing for any automotive enthusiast.
Those are good things to do for sure, but I’d argue that’s not how you save money. My suggestions:
The second car I purchased was a ‘94 Cavalier…certainly not turbo, but the car was perfectly fine. They looked pretty cool too (certainly better than every CUV that’s on the road now). Especially with the body kit on the z24 - which a friend had as a white convertible. That car was pretty sweet for 20 year old me. …
When’s the cookbook coming out?
Looks like it sold already. Not surprised.. it’s not an ideal model, but it is in good shape for its age. A 190 fan was definitely going to pick it up. I kinda like it. The price would be better if I didn’t have to replace the grill and wheels. Then again, the likelihood of finding one with original / not-ugly whe…
There was a small used car lot on the way to my in-laws. It’s small town Ontario, so everything was either an old Chrysler minivan or a pickup. They had a small amount of land across the road as overflow, and one day while driving by I saw it: a Z31 300zx (that looked exactly like the one pictured below).
Nice. I would have done the exact same thing. Awesome car.
The list kinda makes sense.
It’s interesting, but not $4500 interesting. At $1000, it would be a curiosity, but nothing more. ND.
