It’s Pearson!

The issue is that the second-generation (NB) Miata is consider — totally unfairly — to be the red-headed stepchild of the Miata line.

Huh. I don’t think I noticed that before.  That’s a much better submission than a bunch that made the slideshow.  Even the lower front bumper area is a match...

Dude said “Like some sort of Fiata!” It was VERY obvious.

An amazing four door beetle!  I kinda want one now!

Well…

I don’t really care about all that.  Like I said, I’m not tipping on something that starts at $90 an hour.  I also didn’t tip the plumber that came to my house yesterday - his company got nearly $200 an hour out of me.  When an hour costs that much, I’m perfectly happy to assume the person performing the task is paid

Two days in a row you’ve managed to hit on a car that I have more of an irrational emotional attachment to. While the AMC was memorable because it was the first family car I remember, the V70R is the first car that I *really* wanted. Yeah…I might have been weird. I swooned over the hotter 850 versions when I was in

“Rapid unscheduled disassembly”

Yep. Subscriptions and probably some restructured license agreements.  But mostly subscription revenue.

Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve always thought that the fifth-generation Volkswagen Jetta and the ninth-generation Toyota Corolla

That whooshing sound is a joke flying over your head.

Insurance companies also charge a premium for Teslas

Just don’t use Tesla Insurance.

You shouldn’t assume so much then.

I didn’t really even need to read this one. The AMC Eagle is my first automotive memory, with it being the family car when I was around 4. I don’t remember anything that came before it, but I remember every single car after it and they were all duds (save for one). No surprise then that I still look back on the Eagle

Did I say that? Has nothing to do with it being an investment.

I remember thinking last fall: “Tesla is due for some sort of price action to compete, maybe I should get out of my Model3 while resale values are still high…”

LOL!

There’s a couple that are on my list that aren’t here (two are local to me in Ontario no one here would know about - basically wacky car owners that open their collection occasionally for visitors, another would be the Corvette museum), but overall, this is a sweet list and I was right to be looking forward to it.
