Speaking of Carpenter, I don’t think anything fills me with as much terror as the “transmission” sequences from PRINCE OF DARKNESS. It’s SO simple but something about the whole idea rattles me all the way to my bones no matter how many times I watch that movie.

I just binged both seasons of GET SHORTY and absolutely loved it. The general lack of notice isn’t surprising given the network/platform (Epix), but damn, Chris O’Dowd is surprisingly badass in this.  

That Kacey Musgraves album is INCREDIBLE. Absolutely top-notch production and songwriting. I’ve been listening to all the (great) tunes in this article but hers was the one that gave me goosebumps.
