The people debating me are not arguing that they’re confused because there are too many choices. They’re arguing that they don’t like the choices I’ve presented because they’ve never seen them before or don’t know how to pronounce them. Your energies would be better spent encouraging them to being more patient

Or maybe you were told different because the non binary community is not a monolith with a central governing force to determine language progression, especially since these changes are all rather new. There are multiple gender neutral pronouns in English, all of which are valid unless reasonably demonstrated as

I don’t know why you’re arguing points about @ with me since I didn’t suggest it and just explained I’d never heard of it. X, on the other hand, is pronounceable. Latinx is pronounced “la-teen-ex” like Kleenex, as would any other word to which X is attached. All other cases would use E.

I’ve never seen @, so we must run in different circles.

The two explanations I’ve seen explain that the speaker/writer would substitute either an X or an E. “Les” would be the non binary pronoun. I honestly don’t think it’s nearly as complicated or unwieldy as you’re making it out to be, and it I think that to suggest so does a disservice.

With an x, as in Latinx.

Yeah, pretty much serial killer ever winds up kicking things into high gear right after losing their job.

Since there was at least a conviction, I hope she’ll be able to apply that toward a civil court verdict so that she can at least get financial support to cover her therapy costs.

She only kills non-white men.

Argh, “females?”

Those anti-heroes were far worse, but were never pitched to the audience as someone the viewers should aspire to be.

I don’t care a lick if a series’ characters are nice. It’s Always Sunny is one of the best comedies on television, and they’re all raging toxic assholes. It’s why they’re so funny.

I wonder if you refuse to grant the same leeway to characters like Tony Soprano, Don Draper, and Walter White because they were indisputably assholes on a level far more destructive than any woman of the SATC quartet.

Maybe Davis has nothing going on, SJP has a new HBO series Divorce that’s already 2 seasons in.

I forget sometimes how many people didn’t start watching SATC until it was basically off the air.

But Melrose Place debuted in ‘92 and was still airing when SATC debuted in ‘98, and the latter’s cast were all pointedly thirtysomething. Even if you weren’t an avid fan of either, it seems odd to attribute them to two vastly divided eras.

For me, there’s a moment when she and Trey are having a fight in front of all the girls because he bought her a cardboard baby in an ill-advised attempt to inject levity into their fertility issues. The line reading and physical comedy she does on Don’t you bring that flat baby in here!” is probably one of the few

Why is that surprising? She’s the same age as SJP and Nixon. Locklear’s only 3 years older.

Because her character had the least amount of range, and when Charlotte did get emotional, Davis played her like a cartoon instead of the comparatively more naturalistic performances her co-stars offered. She was better on Melrose Place.

If you really love it, there’s an Etsy shop that makes copies in your color of choice for about $175 which seems like a lot but also kinda fair because I remember how long it took for me to get to get to place mat size.
